PROJECT

I choreographed three featured dancers from Disney’s Club Mickey Mouse — Gabe De Guzman, Jenna Alvarez and Will Simmons — alongside a six-dancer ensemble for Club Penguin Island — The Igloo Party, a live-action TV commercial shot in Los Angeles. The production moved through dance-battle, beach and snow environments, with choreography developed in rehearsal ahead of filming.

​CHOREOGRAPHY

The dance battle reflected an existing Club Penguin Island gameplay feature, so the challenge was to translate that experience into live action while keeping it playful, accessible and Disney-friendly. The movement needed to feel competitive without becoming aggressive, while carrying the light, social energy of the island setting.

Gabe De Guzman, Jenna Alvarez and Will Simmons were each given individual moments before the choreography expanded into a team battle with a six-dancer ensemble. The movement was developed to retain each dancer’s personality while still reading as a friendly group challenge on camera.
